A new power transformer with a capacity of 40 MVA has been prepared for the power system of Moscow and the Moscow region. After testing, the equipment was sent to the reserve of PAO "Rosseti Moscow Region", where it will be used for operational replacement in case of accidents, repairs, or modernization of substations.
The TDTN-40000/110 transformer was manufactured by the electrical engineering holding "ERSO" at its production site in Ufa. Before shipment, specialists conducted a full range of factory tests, confirming the equipment's compliance with technical requirements.
The new transformer belongs to the 110 kV voltage class and is designed for operation at large main substations. Its capacity is 40 MVA, which allows the equipment to be used to ensure stable power supply to residential areas, industrial enterprises, and urban infrastructure facilities.
"Rosseti Moscow Region" is one of Russia's largest distribution power grid companies. It is responsible for electricity transmission and technological connection of new consumers in Moscow and the Moscow region.
The availability of ready-to-operate backup equipment significantly reduces the time to restore power supply in emergency situations and maintains the high reliability of the power system in one of the country's largest regions.
