A new TVF-130 turbogenerator with a capacity of 130 MW has been delivered to Novosibirsk CHPP-3, which will replace a unit that has been in operation for more than 50 years. The delivery was carried out as part of the DPM-2 modernization program, implemented by Siberian Generating Company.
The new unit is equipped with a hydrogen cooling system. Its design uses modern stator winding materials, as well as a modernized rotor with a new ventilation channel scheme, which should increase the reliability and efficiency of the equipment.
The first turbogenerator under the program has already been installed on power unit No. 13 and put into commercial operation. Currently, the station is dismantling turbine unit No. 11 and preparing the foundation for the installation of new equipment.
Novosibirsk CHPP-3 was included in the DPM-2 program based on the results of the selection in 2021. After the completion of modernization, scheduled for July 2027, the installed electrical capacity of the station will increase by 40 MW.
Earlier it was reported that Omsk CHPP-4 completed the assembly of the main equipment of the new turbine unit. Cylinders through which steam passes under pressure and electricity is generated were installed at the station. Also, Ufa CHPP-4 put into operation a new automatic control subsystem for the electrical part of the steam turbine control system. In addition, at Severskaya CHPP, the installation of the frame, furnace, and main components of the new boiler unit No. 12 was completed. automatic control subsystem.
