Russian companies are increasingly looking for employees who can work with artificial intelligence. In the first quarter of 2026, the number of vacancies with such requirements increased 2.7 times, according to "SberMarketing".
This is no longer just about developers and analysts. Neural network skills are becoming important for client managers and specialists from other areas – employers expect AI to help them cope faster with routine and professional tasks.
If previously employees themselves showed initiative in learning neural networks, now employers demand specific AI competencies already at the hiring stage.
At the same time, the demand for education is growing: according to "SberMarketing" and Telecom Daily, the Russian AI education market in 2026 will reach 61.9 billion rubles – 35% more than a year earlier.
A new basic skill is forming in the market: an employee must be able to use AI, but a person will still be responsible for the final result and decisions.
