The Beshtau Group of Companies showed the process of creating a new keyboard. The published photos show control boards that will form the basis of the device, responsible for processing keystrokes and communicating with the computer, the company said.
The boards are produced at the Beshtau enterprise in Rostov-on-Don. Here, a full cycle is performed: mounting of electronic components, crystal welding, and quality control. The production of boards is a key stage in the creation of the keyboard, which will be the second generation of the device. The new model is being created taking into account the experience of operating the previous version.
Beshtau is the only manufacturer of computer keyboards and mice in Russia. About 170 company products are included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The enterprise in Rostov-on-Don produces up to 500 thousand products per year, including motherboards and power supplies. Production facilities are also located in Essentuki, where the final assembly of finished equipment is organized.
The company promises to tell about the case of the new keyboard later – according to the developers, before getting its final look, it went through several completely different options.
