The Moselektroshchit plant has completed the modernization of its blanking shop. According to the company's press service, four new CNC hydraulic press brakes have increased the productivity of the section sixfold.
The machines from the Turkish manufacturer EKO have already undergone commissioning, and the shop personnel have been trained to work with the new equipment. The presses are characterized by high bending precision, are equipped with a special table for feeding large workpieces, and perform operations significantly faster than their predecessors. The increase in sheet processing speed directly unloads subsequent operations – welding and assembly, which previously were limited by the throughput of the blanking section.
The modernization of the shop is part of a comprehensive program to update the plant's production capacities. Nikolay Shemyakin, General Director of Moselektroshchit, stated that the precision and speed of parts manufacturing are becoming critical parameters, and the new presses provide a technological foundation for the future. In fact, the plant is transitioning from piece bending on universal equipment to serial high-precision metal processing with minimal human involvement.
