The situation in the Russian petroleum products market is difficult, but all Rosneft gas stations will operate stably. This was stated by the head of the company, Igor Sechin, during a shareholders' meeting.
Indeed, the market conditions are difficult; there are objective factors, fundamental factors, and situational things.
According to Sechin, there is currently seasonal demand for fuel, and in addition, "unscheduled work at refineries" and "intensive agricultural work" are superimposed. At the same time, at Rosneft gas stations, "there are practically no restrictions," and gas station employees fill tanks "in a normal manner," he assured.
The head of Rosneft noted that some suppliers are reducing the volume of fuel sales per person, but urged "not to inflate the hype." In turn, his company's gas stations do not plan to resort to such measures, Sechin concluded.
Restrictions on the sale of gasoline and diesel fuel began to be introduced at gas stations of various suppliers in mid-June. In particular, limits on sales of no more than 20-30 liters per person were in effect in various regions of Russia.
