KamAZ has launched a new modification of the KamAZ-65954 all-wheel drive tractor unit. The main feature of the vehicle is the Inman IM 240N crane-manipulator. The new KamAZ can not only transport heavy loads over difficult roads but also perform loading and unloading operations itself.
The vehicle is based on the KamAZ-65954 tractor unit with a 6x6 wheel arrangement. It is designed for transporting heavy loads off-road and for operations where a separate crane or other external equipment is not available.
The tractor is equipped with a KamAZ-R6 engine with 560 hp. It is paired with a 16-speed manual gearbox.
The Inman IM 240N crane-manipulator was installed on the vehicle. Its maximum lifting moment is 22.57 tm.
The maximum lifting capacity of the unit is 10,000 kg. At a maximum boom outreach of 8.1 meters, the crane-manipulator can lift up to 2730 kg.
