Not only Russia and CIS: RuStore expanded app publishing worldwide

The console now includes country and region settings for precise app and game launches

RuStore has expanded its console capabilities for developers: now, when publishing an app or game, you can select the countries and regions where the product will be available to users. The new setting appeared in the "Countries and Regions" section.

Previously, RuStore's focus was primarily on Russia and CIS countries; now, the geography has expanded. The list includes countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Oceania. This allows developers not just to publish a product, but to manage its distribution more precisely.

With this feature, developers can more accurately define the geography of app distribution depending on the target audience and product development plans. For example, open access in several countries at once or select individual markets where the app will be most in demand.

The new feature can be useful for developers who want to test demand in specific foreign markets or gradually expand their audience. For example, an app can be launched in several countries at once or access can be limited only to those regions where the product is already ready for promotion.

RuStore notes that the setting should simplify the entry of applications into international markets. For developers, this is another tool for managing product availability through the RuStore Console – without the need to launch the application for all countries simultaneously.
