One of the most modern motor oil production plants in Russia may change ownership. According to "Kommersant", "Lukoil" is considering the acquisition of the "Top Lubricants" enterprise in the Kaluga region, which previously belonged to the French holding TotalEnergies.
The enterprise is capable of producing up to 75 thousand tons of products per year, and its design capacity could be even higher.
The plant is distinguished by a high degree of automation, modern logistics, and a favorable location near key sales markets.
The enterprise is estimated to be worth 1.5–2 billion rubles. If the deal goes through, "Lukoil" will gain control of one of the country's most modern oil plants.
