Instead of grants - "sports betting": a link from "Gosuslugi" led to a bookmaker's website

"Perviy Tekhnicheskiy" checked the transition: later the page became unavailable

An unusual glitch was discovered on Gosuslugi: a link from the section about the register of Russian software led not to a page about grant support, but to a betting website. "Perviy Tekhnicheskiy" checked the strange transition.

The screenshots show that the "Grant Support" button on the page "Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases" opened the domain "it-grants.rf". But instead of information about benefits and state support, the user landed on a page designed as a mirror of a "betting website", with login and registration buttons.

Most likely, the issue is not with advertising on Gosuslugi, but with a third-party domain. It might have been forgotten to renew, after which the address ended up with new owners and started showing completely different content. As a result, the old link on the government service could lead the user not to grants, but effectively to "sports betting".

By 14:35 Moscow time, the situation had already changed: the problematic page on Gosuslugi stopped opening and showed the message "Looks like nothing was found". This could mean that the section was temporarily closed or the link was promptly removed after the problem was discovered.

The glitch was short but noticeable: a user looking for support measures for Russian software ended up on a bookmaker's page. For a government service, even such a technical error seems sensitive, especially if the reason is indeed related to a lost or hijacked domain.
