Lada Azimut cars in various colors were again spotted on the territory of the AvtoVAZ plant. According to insider KhaDm, the cars were returned to the site, but from where is unknown.
Serial production of the model is planned only after the corporate summer vacation of the enterprise, i.e., in September. Until then, the cars are undergoing final stages of preparation and refinement.
Lada Azimut will be released in three trim levels at once. Even basic versions will receive climate control, a virtual instrument panel, and a modern multimedia system.
At the start of sales, the crossover will only be offered with VAZ gasoline engines of 1.6 and 1.8 liters. Their power will be 120 and 132 hp, respectively. No other power units are planned for the first year of production. The price range of the new product is tentatively estimated to be between 2.2 and 2.7 million rubles.
The new model was showcased at PMEF-2026 in St. Petersburg. In the future, Azimut will feature a new 135-horsepower engine.
