Less and less live communication: every fifth Russian hides dialogues with AI from their partner - survey

Some respondents experience jealousy due to such conversations

Almost every fifth Russian (19%) hides communication with artificial intelligence (AI) from their partner. Women do this more often than men, according to the materials of a sociological survey by MWS AI (formerly MTS AI).

According to the study, 22% of men aged 18 to 30 hide dialogues with chatbots. In the category over 50, 14% of respondents do not want to talk about their communication with AI.

At the same time, 5% of respondents admitted that they experience jealousy due to such conversations. 19% state that they would not be jealous of a program. And 59% believe that their emotions depend on the specific situation.

MWS AI analysts also found out Russians' attitude towards the ability to work with neural networks. It turned out that every sixth respondent considers the lack of such skills a disadvantage.

Only 2% would not continue romantic relationships for this reason. Nevertheless, the majority of respondents (77%) do not see a problem in this. The survey involved 1.1 thousand citizens of the Russian Federation over 18 years old.
