The "Moskvich" M70 crossover will get an all-wheel drive version. Currently, the car is only sold with front-wheel drive, but the new modification is already undergoing testing. This was reported to Autonews.ru by the press service of the "Moskvich" car plant.
The "Moskvich" M70 crossover entered the market in March 2026. The model is a rebadged version of the Chinese-British MG HS crossover.
Prices for the M70 start from 2,689,000 rubles. The car is available with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 150 hp and a two-liter engine with 200 hp.
All current M70 modifications offer only front-wheel drive. Earlier, "Moskvich" also announced preparations for transferring the crossover to small-scale assembly. Currently, the model is assembled from ready-made car kits imported from China.
In addition, "Moskvich" plans to launch hybrid car production. The brand's press service noted that the brand is working on producing cars using hybrid technologies, and such models may appear on the assembly line "in the foreseeable future."
