Access to nature reserves now available via "Gosuslugi": permits issued online

A new service has been launched on the portal for trips to unique territories - with routes, passes, and location selection on a map

A trip to a nature reserve, national park, or sanctuary can now be arranged through "Gosuslugi". A new service for traveling through specially protected natural areas of Russia has been launched on the portal. It helps to choose a route, issue an electronic permit, and obtain a pass for a personal car.

The new function is called "Visiting Specially Protected Natural Areas". Through it, you can apply online for a permit to visit nature reserves, national parks, and sanctuaries. A digital permit for personal vehicle entry is also issued there.

Currently, electronic permits for 36 federal nature reserves and national parks are available through the service. By the end of the year, their number is planned to increase to 60.

For convenience, the territories are divided into two categories. For active recreation, there is the "Pulse of Nature" section, and for more tranquil experiences, "World of Silence".

Among the available destinations are the Altai Nature Reserve and Kenozersky National Park, which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. The service also lists Buzuluksky Bor National Park and Kivach Nature Reserve in Karelia, home to one of Europe's largest flat waterfalls.

As Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko noted, the digital service should make trips to protected areas more convenient and accessible.
