The gradual restoration of free fuel sales has begun in Sevastopol. Nine "Atan" gas stations immediately started dispensing gasoline and diesel fuel without coupons or special restrictive schemes, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev announced.
Free sales became available at several large city gas stations, as well as in Balaklava, Verkhnesadovoye, and Goncharnoye. Depending on the station, motorists are offered AI-92, AI-95 Ultra, AI-100 gasoline, and DT Ultra diesel fuel.
In early June, fuel restrictions were introduced in the region. Local authorities switched some gas stations to coupon sales and set a limit of 20 liters per person.
The reason for the shortage was cited as difficulties with fuel supplies. However, the restrictions have not yet been fully lifted. At "TES" network gas stations, the fuel dispensing system using QR codes continues to operate.
