The Ministry of Transport set the task to start testing the high-speed railway in 2027

11 car bodies have already been welded for the first Russian high-speed train, five of them have been painted. Four more cars are being equipped: windows are being installed and necessary systems are being mounted. This was announced by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, Andrey Nikitin, noting that testing of the high-speed railway is planned to begin in 2027.

In parallel, infrastructure construction continues on sections where future tests will take place. According to Nikitin, the department's task is to start testing the HSR next year to check the operation of all solutions in real conditions and, if necessary, refine individual elements of the project.

Earlier, "Perviy Tekhnicheskiy" reported that the first two HSR EVS-360 trains received systems for future unmanned movement. The new equipment is capable of automatically controlling the train at speeds up to 360 km/h.
