Kuban Bugatti Mistral for 6 million rubles: Krasnodar studio assembled a hypercar replica 70 times cheaper than the original

Outwardly, the car reproduces key elements, but the technical stuffing is fundamentally different

Krasnodar studio Sestarini has launched the assembly of a full-size replica of the Bugatti Mistral – one of the most expensive and rare roadsters in the world. As Motor magazine found out, the project is implemented on a turnkey basis: the customer receives a finished car, not a set of body parts. The basic version will cost about 6 million rubles – this is 70 times cheaper than the original, which cost about 5 million euros and was sold out even before its official premiere.

Outwardly, the car reproduces the key elements of the hypercar: the signature horseshoe grille, the side line, and the characteristic open body. However, the technical stuffing is fundamentally different: instead of an 8-liter W16 with four turbines, developing 1600 horsepower, the replica will receive a much more modest power unit. The studio offers to discuss the details individually with each customer. For those who want maximum similarity with the original, an advanced version for 12 million rubles is provided.

The original Bugatti W16 Mistral was produced in a limited edition of only 99 copies and was equipped with an engine that is an engineering masterpiece in itself: the W16 with four turbochargers accelerates the car to 420 km/h. The Russian replica, without claiming such dynamics, fills the niche of exclusive design for wealthy customers who are willing to pay for appearance, and not for engineering limits. In the context of sanctions and the departure of Western brands, such projects become an alternative for collectors and connoisseurs of unique style.
