Ufa Su-57 Engine Plant Avoids Bankruptcy Threat

ODK-UMPO announced the stable economic position of the enterprise

The Ufa plant producing engines for Su-57 and Su-35S fighters, ODK-UMPO, is in an economically stable position amidst a bankruptcy threat from the Moscow-based company "Spetsialnaya Metallurgiya". This was reported by the press service of the defense enterprise.

ODK-UMPO consistently fulfills its obligations to counterparties and operates normally, emphasized the plant's representatives.

Earlier, it became known that OOO "NPK "Spetsialnaya Metallurgiya"" intended to file a lawsuit for the bankruptcy of ODK-UMPO due to the enterprise's debts.

The main products of ODK-UMPO are engines for Su-57, Su-35S, and Su-27 fighters. The plant continues to increase personnel costs due to increased production capacity.

Labor costs increased by 3.75% and amounted to 43.4 billion rubles with a staff of about 25.3 thousand people.
