RT-Project Technologies from Rostec State Corporation and Tsifroport have created the first lifecycle management system for unmanned aerial vehicles. It uses artificial intelligence to predict potential malfunctions.
The new platform is called "STAR BAS". It is designed to support drone operations – from putting equipment into service to analyzing its technical condition and maintenance. Similar solutions have long been used in manned aviation, but for the Russian UAV market, this complex is the first.
The system collects and processes data on drone operations, allowing it to assess their condition and identify signs of potential failures even before serious malfunctions occur. The use of artificial intelligence algorithms should increase the reliability of unmanned aerial vehicle operation and reduce the risks of unscheduled downtime.
