The company "Gumich RTK", with the participation of public organizations, demonstrated the mobile anti-drone system "Impulse", capable of detecting and intercepting unmanned aerial vehicles at a distance of several kilometers. The system is designed to protect both frontline areas and critical infrastructure facilities in the rear.
The complex is built on two ground robotic platforms "Impulse-M". The first modification, equipped with a radar station, is responsible for detecting small-class aerial targets. According to the developers, the detection range for UAVs is from 4 to 18 km and depends on the size of the target and environmental conditions.
The second platform performs the strike and interception function. It is equipped with containers with interceptor drones, which are designed to neutralize detected targets. The technical characteristics of the interceptors themselves are not disclosed.
It is separately noted that the developer has another version of the system - "Impulse-PVO", which uses different interceptors. It is not yet known whether it will be integrated into the current configuration of the complex.
Earlier, "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" reported that NRTK "Kuryer" received a new reconnaissance modification with a retractable "eye". The complex was equipped with an optoelectronic system on a lifting platform.
