The new mid-size SUV ESTEO MX is being prepared for release on the Russian market. The car features all-wheel drive, massage functions in the front seats, a separate screen for the passenger, and an audio system with numerous speakers. Details were shared by the premium car brand's press service.
All-wheel drive, 210 km/h, and four modes for bad roads
The new mid-size SUV ESTEO MX will enter the Russian market in two versions – "Premium" and "Flagship". Both will receive a two-liter 2.0 TGDI turbo engine with 197 hp, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and AWD.
The maximum speed reaches 210 km/h, and fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 9.2 liters per 100 km. The driver has access to seven driving modes, four of which are designed for difficult road conditions, and the ground clearance is 200 mm.
Massage in the front seats and numerous speakers in the cabin
The driver's and front passenger's seats feature electric adjustments and multi-zone massage with several modes and intensity settings.
Double front side windows ensure quietness. The BOYA MELODY audio system includes a subwoofer and 14 or 21 speakers depending on the trim level, with some of them integrated directly into the driver's headrest.
The passenger will have their own screen and separate Bluetooth
A separate multimedia display for the passenger with an independent Bluetooth channel is installed on the front panel. Thanks to the car's internet connection, popular video hosting and other entertainment platforms can be streamed in the cabin.
Climate control is managed by physical buttons to easily change basic settings while driving without being distracted from the road.
The car can be started and checked from a smartphone
The standard telematics system allows remote engine start, pre-setting the microclimate, and controlling door locks and power windows.
The driver can also check the car's location and monitor tire pressure. The windshield washer fluid reservoir has been increased to 7 liters, and the rear-view camera is equipped with an automatic washer.
Full body galvanization and over 400 LEDs
The proportion of high-strength steel in the body's power frame reaches 85%. The electronic assistant complex includes adaptive cruise control with lane keeping, automatic emergency braking (AEB), blind spot detection (BSD), and other assistants using cameras, radars, and sonars.
The suspension uses lightweight aluminum wishbones and hydro-filled silent blocks, and all exterior body panels are fully galvanized.
The ESTEO MX design is based on the golden ratio concept. The optics include 472 independent LED elements with a total length of 3.5 meters, and each headlight unit has three modules.
Buyers will be offered "Astrum" white, "Sagittarius" black, and "Phantom" gray colors, with the interior available in brown or black. Wheel rim diameters will be 19 or 20 inches. Pre-orders will open soon.
In the Russian market, the ESTEO MX has several competitors. The closest can be considered the mid-size crossover Tenet T8: it is also equipped with a two-liter turbo engine with 197 hp and all-wheel drive, although instead of a classic eight-speed automatic, a seven-speed robotic gearbox is used. Another analogue of the MX is the seven-seater "Moskvich 8", but it differs in power unit and format.
