Su-30MKI Confirms RudraM-II Missile Capabilities in Indian Tests

The new aviation complex demonstrated high precision in application

A test launch of the promising anti-radiation missile RudraM-II was successfully carried out from a multi-role Su-30MKI fighter, accurately hitting the designated ground target. The launch was conducted by specialists from the Indian Ministry of Defence in cooperation with the program developers.

The tests took place in a complex environment and were aimed at verifying the operation of the main weapon systems. After separating from the aircraft, the missile entered its calculated trajectory and hit the target with high precision.

RudraM-II is being developed by Indian specialists with the participation of state-owned enterprises and scientific centers of the country. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is responsible for integrating the product with aviation platforms.

The new missile belongs to the class of high-speed strike weapons and is designed to detect, suppress, and destroy radar stations and other air defense elements. The use of such weapons allows aviation to reduce the effectiveness of layered enemy air defense before striking other targets.

After the completion of the test program, RudraM-II is planned to be inducted into service with the Indian Air Force. The appearance of the new missile should expand the combat capabilities of the Su-30MKI fleet in performing tasks to suppress modern air defense systems.
