The "Piranha-10" attack FPV drone has received a package of updates, including a modular design and an expanded communication system with automatic frequency switching. This was announced by a representative of the developer, SKB "Piranha".
According to him, the device was modernized after early tests, when a single-channel control and video communication scheme was used. The new version operates in four frequency ranges simultaneously, with the system independently selecting the most stable signal without operator intervention.
A separate change was the transition to a modular architecture. The camera, video transmitter, and control receiver are made as interchangeable blocks with universal mounts. This allows replacing components without soldering and complete disassembly of the device, as well as using identical components on different versions of the platform.
The developer notes that the update has reduced maintenance time and simplified field operation due to component unification.
