To defeat UAVs and aircraft at altitudes up to 7 km: The Citadel ZAK was tested with a 100-mm A190 naval gun

The artillery complex will be installed on a Ural chassis

The newest Russian anti-aircraft artillery complex (ZAK) "Tsitadel" was tested with a 100 mm A190 naval gun. This was reported by a source in the country's defense-industrial complex.

According to the source, the interested parties "were satisfied with what they saw." The new version of the ZAK will receive shrapnel shells with a remotely controlled fuse.

These munitions will create a large cloud of fragments in the air for an increased engagement radius. The Tsitadel with the A190 gun will be able to be used against drones and aircraft at altitudes up to 7 km.

The developers also want to create a mobile version of the complex. This involves its installation on a wheeled chassis.

Production of the complex on a Ural wheeled base is planned.
