The state company Avtodor plans to build eight new gas stations on its highways in 2026, six of which will receive flagship status, said Vyacheslav Petushenko, the head of the company, on the sidelines of the road initiatives forum. He did not specify the exact locations.
Two-story service complexes with Rosseti electric charging stations will appear on the M-11 Neva highway. However, not all infrastructure projects in this direction are successful: a previously built service station at the 423rd kilometer has already been deemed unprofitable.
The head of the state company noted that the focus is on mobile brigades: about 160 crews of emergency commissioners work around the clock and arrive at the scene within 15 minutes. They provide assistance with tire fitting, and if evacuation is necessary, they promptly deliver the car to the nearest multifunctional zone. In fact, Avtodor combines targeted development of flagship gas stations with a flexible incident response system.
