The Russian T-90M "Proryv" tank will continue to serve for at least several decades; the combat vehicle's modernization is almost continuous. This was stated by Andrey Terlikov, General Designer of Uralvagonzavod.
According to him, the "Proryv" maintains superiority over Western tanks, including the American Abrams and German Leopard, and has also received new solutions for protection against drones.
Our T-90M tank surpasses all these models.
Terlikov clarified that foreign tanks have too much weight, poor cross-country ability, maneuverability, and weak protection.
Earlier, "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" compared top heavy armored vehicles by cruising range and identified the winner. The T-90M "Proryv" ranked second, losing to the Korean K2 Black Panther.
