Rostec commissioned a container inspection complex with steel penetration up to 320 mm

The new ST-2630P inspection system is designed for non-intrusive cargo inspection

A portal inspection and screening complex ST-2630P for scanning cargo containers without opening them has been launched in the Moscow region. The equipment was put into operation by the state corporation Rostec together with the companies Toriy and Scantronic Systems in the Moscow region.

The new system is based on a domestic linear electron accelerator and is designed for high-precision inspection of cargo flows.

The complex generates a detailed color image of the contents of containers and is capable of "illuminating" steel structures up to 320 mm thick. Software algorithms classify materials and allow identifying potentially dangerous objects, including explosives, narcotics, ammunition, and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The system's throughput reaches up to 120 vehicles per hour, with inspection carried out without opening containers and without risk to personnel and drivers.

According to representatives of the state corporation, more than 60 similar complexes are already in operation in Russia, and another 24 are in the production stage. The implementation of artificial intelligence technologies is also underway, which in the future will automatically recognize a wide range of threats.
