The first production batch of Tair-45 Bokeh Master lenses has already been shipped to the customer, "Shvabe" (part of Rostec) reported. The main feature is an unusual "swirly" bokeh: the background in the picture is not just blurred, but twists in a spiral, creating depth of field. The foreground remains sharp and expressive.
The lens with a focal length of 95 mm and a maximum aperture of f/2.3 is suitable for portrait photography. The development was based on the optical scheme of the legendary designer David Volosov – the creator of video lenses for the Ostankino TV center and orientation systems for the "Lunokhod" spacecraft. Production is carried out by the Lytkarino Optical Glass Plant.
In addition, updated "Rubinar" lenses for lovers of classic soft bokeh have gone into production. Focal length - 100 mm, aperture - f/2. They provide high image contrast with soft color reproduction. Both lenses are compatible with cameras with a universal M42 thread and are compact in size. The "Shvabe" line of mechanical portrait lenses today is the only one in its class on the Russian market.
Earlier, Roscosmos published photographs by staff photographer Artyom Pylaev, taken with a Zenit-M camera worth about half a million rubles, created by the "Shvabe" holding. The shots capture, in particular, the long-awaited launch of the new Soyuz-5 rocket on April 30. Zenit-M is a revived legend of domestic photographic equipment. The camera was developed based on the Leica M (Type 240), but the unique "filling" was made in-house: the Zenitar 35 mm f/1.0 lens was completely created in Russia from domestic components. "Shvabe" emphasizes: this is 100% Russian optics, made of metal and glass.
