A new batch of track equipment for railway maintenance and construction has arrived in Kazakhstan. The delivery was carried out by the Kalugaputmash plant.
Currently, three ELB-4S electric ballast cleaners are undergoing commissioning in the republic. After being put into operation, the machines will begin work on Kazakhstan's main railway network. Two more UK 25/25 track-laying cranes and a MPK mechanized platform with a cabin are intended for the construction of new tracks.
The company notes that Kazakhstan remains one of the key foreign markets for the enterprise. More than 80 locomotives, about 40 hopper-dosers, 12 electric locomotives, as well as previously supplied UK 25/25 track-laying cranes and MPK mechanized platforms manufactured by Kalugaputmash are already operating on the country's railways.
