FSMTC Head Shugaev: "Technical solutions must anticipate today's needs"

Russian electronic warfare systems are constantly being improved to meet all current needs for combating drones. This was stated by Dmitry Shugaev, Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia.

According to him, much is being done to ensure that domestic electronic warfare systems are the most modern.

Everything is changing so rapidly now, so technical solutions must anticipate today's needs. There are many countermeasures that, for various reasons, mostly technical, become ineffective after some time.

Shugaev added that Russian industry is working in this direction 24/7, inventing new and more effective solutions.

A few months ago, Rostec introduced a new PRES-VM complex for protecting civilian transport in dangerous areas. The anti-drone device fits into a luggage case – the 15 kg device is placed on the roof of a car and activated directly from a smartphone.
