"Safe City" on Wheels: NtechLab Unveils Video Analytics System Based on "Gazelle"

Mikhail Mishustin was shown a development for areas without infrastructure and electricity supply

At CIPR-2026 in Nizhny Novgorod, NtechLab presented to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin a mobile video analytics complex for the "Safe City" system. The solution is designed for use in locations where there is no stationary infrastructure, stable power supply, or the ability to quickly deploy conventional surveillance cameras.

The complex is built on the basis of the "Gazelle NN Kombi". Inside there is a driver's cabin, a server compartment, and a working area for personnel, while outside there are 28 cameras installed – at entrances and exits, inspection frames, on the platform and roof of the vehicle. The system analyzes video in real time: it helps control access, identify undesirable individuals, record fights, people falling, abandoned objects, and other violations of law and order.

Such a complex can be deployed in a few minutes, after which it can operate autonomously. One vehicle covers an area of up to 10 square kilometers and can be used at events with an audience of over 100,000 people. For larger events, several vehicles can be combined into a single system.

The Nizhny Novgorod region became the first customer of the mobile complex. According to the head of the region, Gleb Nikitin, the use of such vehicles at six events instead of stationary complexes saved about 26 million rubles. Mikhail Mishustin, commenting on the economic effect, noted that this way the cost of the vehicle itself could actually be recouped.

NtechLab CEO Alexey Palamarchuk emphasized that with simple installation and use, the complex provides full perimeter security. According to him, mobile video analytics can be useful not only in remote areas but also at mass events where it is important to quickly enhance security without lengthy infrastructure construction.
