Rostec has proposed to Chinese partners to establish the production of Ka-226T multi-purpose helicopters in their country. This was announced by Viktor Kladov, Director for International Cooperation at the state corporation, on the sidelines of the X Russian-Chinese EXPO held in Harbin.
We are ready to transfer the license for the Ka-226T and produce it in China.
According to him, two rounds of negotiations have already taken place in Shenzhen. One of the Chinese high-tech companies showed interest in the Russian helicopter, proposing to create an unmanned version. In this direction, "they are very good", Kladov noted. The top manager did not rule out that Rostec would consider such a cooperation option.
The anniversary X Russian-Chinese EXPO started on May 17. About 250 companies from Russia, as well as representatives from 16 regions, are participating in the exhibition.
