The D-336-2T gas turbine engine successfully completed the full program of bench tests and confirmed reaching a nominal power of about 6.3 MW. The work was performed by "Dizelzipservice" company (part of KMZ) after the unit's overhaul.
The engine was tested across the entire range of modes: from start-up to long-term operation under load. The results showed that the unit is ready for operation on main pipelines as part of gas pumping, oil pumping, and gas lift units.
A specialized stand for testing D-336 family gas turbine engines operates at the Dizelzipservice production site. It allows for a full cycle of work: defect detection, repair, adjustment, and resource tests.
The successful tests of the D-336-2T strengthen the service cooperation of enterprises associated with KMZ and contribute to increasing the reliability of the gas transportation infrastructure.
Restored engines return to operation with confirmed characteristics, which reduces the risks of downtime at fuel and energy complex facilities.
