Russian Excavator Gets a Heart from KamAZ: E225C Now with KAMA-DIZEL Engine

The 23-ton machine has acquired a new 125 kW power unit

The UMG E225C crawler excavator has received a new version with a Russian KAMA-DIZEL 667 engine with a power of 125 kW. The updated modification was presented by the UMG Group of Companies.

The new power unit has expanded the range of engines for the 23-ton excavator. Previously, the model was produced with YaMZ-534 and YaMZ-536 engines. The company notes that the KAMA-DIZEL engine combines high power, economical fuel consumption, and reduced noise and vibration levels.

When updating the machine, the manufacturer focused on operation in harsh conditions. More durable domestic steel grades were used in the design of the working equipment. The excavator is designed to work with soils of the fourth category, and the digging depth with a standard 1 cubic meter bucket reaches 6870 mm.

UMG reported that the launch of the new modification is part of the expansion of the power unit line. The company emphasized that customers now have three engine options available, including the KAMA-DIZEL 667, which has already proven itself as a reliable and economical unit.

The excavator has been developed with extra-long working equipment with a digging radius of up to 16 meters and a depth of up to 12.27 meters. In addition, the machine can be equipped with remote control with a range of up to 20 km.
