Rosmorport has announced an electronic auction for the dry dock repair of the tugboat "Georgy Sedov" (A-type project), which is used for icebreaking and supply operations. This is confirmed by data from the Unified Information System "Zakupki".
The contract value will be 143.56 million rubles. The warranty period for the completed work is at least 1 year. Applications are accepted until May 20, 2026.
The contractor is obliged to carry out dry dock repairs within the scope of an intermediate survey (integrity of the hull, operability of mechanisms and equipment are confirmed) under the technical supervision of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. The work must be carried out in the port of Rostov-on-Don or Kerch.
Tugboat "Georgy Sedov"
The vessel was built in Helsinki in 1998. "Georgy Sedov" is part of the fleet of the Azov-Black Sea Basin Branch of Rosmorport.
In 2028, the tugboat will be 30 years old since its construction. Usually, after 25-30 years of operation, the risk of metal fatigue and hull corrosion increases, and repair costs rise. For most vessels, this is the limit of safe and efficient use.
