The cost of reconstructing the Rudnevsky Bridge in Vladivostok has increased to 11.2 billion rubles, and the deadline for commissioning the facility is set for December 25, 2029. This order was signed by the Vladivostok administration, fixing the volume of budget investments in a long-term municipal contract.
In fact, this is not about repair, but about the construction of a new structure in place of the existing crossing over the Pervaya Rechka valley.
The length of the future bridge will be 497.87 m, the width of the roadway is designed for four lanes of traffic. In parallel, 134.3 million rubles have been allocated for construction control and 20 million rubles for author's supervision.
Earlier, in December 2024, Glavgosexpertiza approved the project documentation, then the estimated cost was approximately 9.5 billion rubles.
The existing bridge has been in operation for more than forty years without official acceptance: due to shortcomings made during construction, the facility was never put into operation, but intensive traffic passes through it daily. The new crossing should reliably connect the Pervorechensky and Pervomaysky districts, reducing travel time from an hour to 10-15 minutes.
