Now, websites can host not only individual videos but also entire collections from Rutube. The platform has opened access to a feature for partners that allows showing several videos in a row directly on external sites. The press service of Gazprom-Media Holding's digital assets announced the new capability.
Collections are created in a special Rutube service. After that, they can be embedded into the code of a website page – and users will be able to watch several videos at once without going to the platform itself.
The company clarified that they plan to further develop the tool. In particular, the interface and the logic of managing viewing within such collections will be refined.
Evgeny Ilchuk, Rutube Product Director, noted that the new functionality expands partners' capabilities for working with video content. This is expected to open up new opportunities for content distribution outside the platform.
