Yandex Go service reported possible difficulties with ordering a taxi in Moscow amid unstable mobile communication. The application notes that the service may not work correctly, and some drivers will not be able to go online and accept orders.
The reason cited is problems with communication stability in the city.
The situation is developing against the backdrop of previously announced mobile internet and SMS restrictions in Moscow and the Moscow region from May 5 to May 9. Operators recommended users to switch to Wi-Fi if possible.
Similar problems are already being recorded in other services. Earlier, users complained about disruptions in the operation of applications, messengers, and access to websites — including in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Banks also warned customers about possible difficulties: delays in SMS codes and problems with logging into applications were noted. In particular, users were advised to set up alternative authorization methods in advance and use Wi-Fi.
