Developer of units for T-90 and T-72 tanks sued for 200 million rubles

The Ministry of Industry and Trade sued the Chelyabinsk KB "Turbina"

The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade filed a lawsuit against the design bureau "Turbina", which supplies power units for armored vehicles, including T-72 and T-90 tanks. The case was submitted to the Arbitration Court of the Chelyabinsk Region.

The department demands to recover 70.6 million rubles in subsidies, 35.3 million rubles in fines, and 95.2 million rubles in penalties. The total amount of claims reaches 201 million rubles. The preliminary hearing was scheduled for July 14, 2026.

SKB "Turbina" specializes in gas turbine power units — compact installations that provide power to the onboard systems of armored vehicles. Such solutions are used on modernized vehicles of the T-72 and T-90 families.

Power units provide electricity for sights, communications, and control systems without starting the main engine.
