In Ivanovo, the court will consider a criminal case regarding the embezzlement of over 37.7 million rubles during the supply of parts for the Kalashnikov Concern as part of a state defense order. The indictment has already been approved by the Ivanovo Oblast Prosecutor's Office, and the materials have been submitted to the Oktyabrsky District Court.
According to the investigation, representatives of contracting organizations purchased counterfeit components in China at an understated cost and then supplied them for the concern's contracts, despite their non-compliance with technical requirements. Investigators believe that the contractors' management was aware of the violations, but the parts were still used in the execution of the agreements.
Five people are involved in the case. Among them are Alexey Morokhov, technical director of "Intertekhnika" and general director of "Ivanovskie Kovshi", Alexey Ledenev, co-founder of "Intertekhnika", and Yuri Chernyshev, former director of the company. Morokhov remains in custody.
The investigation suggests that from October 2023 to November 2024, the participants in the scheme organized the supply of some of the purchased parts to a Kalashnikov contractor. The accused allegedly disposed of the received funds at their discretion. The concern has been recognized as the injured party.
