Manufacturer of "Sarmat" and "Sineva" missiles summoned to court

Engine developer JSC "NIIMash" filed a lawsuit against Krasmash for 31 million rubles

JSC "Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering" (JSC "NIIMash") from Nizhnyaya Salda filed a lawsuit against JSC "Krasnoyarsk Machine-Building Plant" (Krasmash) for 31 million rubles. The case is being heard by the Arbitration Court of the Krasnoyarsk Krai.

The next hearing in the case will take place on May 20. The reason for the lawsuit is classified, but typically in such cases, the parties dispute non-payment for certain supplies.

Krasmash traces its history back to 1932 and produces Sineva ballistic missiles, Sarmat strategic missile systems, and base modules for launch vehicles.

JSC "NIIMash" is a leading Russian enterprise specializing in the creation of small-thrust rocket engines. Their propulsion systems are used for flight control, orientation, and stabilization of almost all spacecraft, including Soyuz and Progress vehicles, as well as ISS modules.

This is not the first lawsuit against Krasmash. Previously, the Samara Metallurgical Plant tried to recover more than 181 million rubles from the enterprise.
