AvtoVAZ surged forward: April Lada sales broke the 31 thousand mark

Granta continues to be the leader, and Iskra for the first time exceeded three thousand units sold in a month

In April 2026, Lada car sales amounted to 31,172 units, exceeding last April's figures by 4%. Data on shipments to dealers was provided by the AvtoVAZ press service.

On a monthly comparison, sales volumes increased by 12% relative to March. The increase is explained by seasonal demand revival and the completion of planned conveyor adjustments in Tolyatti and Izhevsk.

The largest circulation remained with the basic Granta, which buyers acquired 11,500 times. The Iskra crossover for the first time overcame the three thousand sold cars mark in a month, reaching 3,200 units. Vesta station wagons sold 6,100 units, and the Largus model found 2,600 owners. The entire Niva family, including off-road and cargo-passenger versions, provided the enterprise with 7,200 sold cars.

The plant's engineers attribute the stable dynamics to the expansion of available trim levels and the debugging of electronic control units in power units. The shift of consumers to practical body types and crossovers allowed assembly lines to be loaded evenly, reducing downtime and accelerating equipment delivery to the dealer network.
