The new heavy-duty vehicle will be able to tow quarry equipment and overloaded trucks

In St. Petersburg, the country's highest-capacity tow truck was handed over to the Leningrad Region Environmental Police. The vehicle was designed and assembled by engineers from PAO "KAMAZ" and specialists from the company "Kuzovostroitel" based on the KAMAZ-65951 chassis.

The ceremony of handing over the giant machine was attended by Andrey Kozhevnikov, General Director of AO "TFK "KAMAZ"", Kirill Bliznyukov, head of the company "Kuzovostroitel", and Ramila Agaeva, Chairman of the State Environmental Supervision Committee of the Leningrad Region.

When developing the tow truck, engineers focused on a high margin of structural strength, a modern transmission, and the ability to operate under extreme loads.

The special equipment is designed for evacuating heavy road trains, quarry dump trucks, and overloaded trucks. According to the developers, the machine is capable of performing tasks that ordinary tow trucks cannot handle.
