The first launch of the new Soyuz-5 rocket was shown online: now unique footage can be seen from home

Kinopoisk showed the launch from Baikonur with all stages - from preparation to launch

Now the first launch of the new Soyuz-5 rocket can be watched without leaving home. Videos of the launch, preparation, and the launch itself are now available on the Kinopoisk online cinema. The recording shows pre-launch operations, the moment of launch, and the "roar of the cosmodrome" itself.

Soyuz-5 is a new generation launch vehicle developed as part of the Baiterek project. Its height ranges from 58.8 to 65.2 meters, and its launch mass is from 526 to 531 tons.

The rocket is equipped with the world's most powerful liquid-propellant rocket engine. Naphthyl is used as fuel, and liquid oxygen serves as the oxidizer.

Soyuz-5 is designed to launch automatic spacecraft into various near-Earth orbits.

The first test launch took place on April 30 at 9:00 PM Moscow time from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

The first and second stages of the rocket operated normally. After insertion, the dimensional-mass mock-up fell into a pre-closed area for shipping and aviation in the Pacific Ocean.
