Russian unmanned aerial vehicles presented at the Defence Services Asia exhibition in Malaysia have been used in real combat operations, and this is their indisputable advantage. This opinion was expressed by leading expert in the field of unmanned systems (UAS) Denis Fedutinov.

The developers took into account the recommendations of servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces and modernized the drones. In this respect, Russian UAVs are head and shoulders above foreign ones that have not been tested in combat, he emphasized.

According to Fedutinov, Southeast Asian countries may be interested in Russian solutions in the field of UAS. In the future, not only supplies of the drones themselves are possible, but also communications equipment, reconnaissance assets, and hardware-software data processing systems.

In addition, potential customers may be attracted by unmanned systems operating in coordination.

Developers are capable of offering integrated solutions that include cross-domain vehicles operating as part of joint systems.
