Rosatom presented equipment and automotive components created with import substitution requirements in mind at the 28th international exhibition ExpoElectronica. Among the developments are an integrated electric drive combining a motor, inverter, and gearbox ("three-in-one"), an automotive radar, a passive safety system control unit, a battery sensor, and a high-precision satellite navigation unit. The latter received the "Electronics-2026" award in the "For the Development of Production Localization" category.
The integrated "three-in-one" electric drive drew particular interest from visitors. Kirill Zimnyakov, an expert at the automotive electronics project office of "Rosatom RDS," explained that the solution is ready for mass deliveries.
The unit presented at the exhibition is intended for passenger cars. The developers plan to further refine the electric drive, increase its power, and in the future offer a similar solution for trucks.
