The Russian Kalashnikov concern presented the upgraded SKAT 350 M unmanned aerial vehicle with an increased number of data transmission channels at the Defense Services Asia International Defence Exhibition in Malaysia. This was reported by the company's press service.
The drone's new technical characteristics, combined with the ability to switch channels online, allow the UAV to easily overcome the enemy's electronic warfare systems.
The concern clarified that the SKAT 350 M is one of the most in-demand reconnaissance drones among Russian servicemen. It is especially effective in tandem with the guided loitering munitions of the KUB family.
Engineers are constantly improving its software. In 2025, specialists made more than 40 changes to the software of the drone's ground control station. They equipped the SKAT 350 M with hardware that makes it possible to counter spoofing systems (a method in which the drone receives a fake signal from GPS/GLONASS navigation satellites that replaces real location data). The drone now navigates using previously uploaded maps.
Among the advantages of the SKAT 350 M are high reliability and operation in harsh weather conditions. The drone can remain airborne for up to 4 hours and cover a distance of 240 km.
