The cost of one serial Su-34 bomber is in the range of 2.7 billion rubles. This was announced by military journalist Kirill Fedorov.
He noted that the purchase of 30 combat aircraft would require about 81 billion rubles. Thus, the average cost of one aircraft will be approximately 2.7 billion rubles.
In 2025, the Chkalov Novosibirsk Aviation Plant built up to 20 "4++" generation Su-34M combat aircraft for the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS), Russian media reported.
The total number of Su-34s in service with the Russian Aerospace Forces in all modifications is estimated at 240 vehicles. The exact number is classified.
A retired pilot and author of the Telegram channel Fighterbomber noted that the Chkalov Aviation Plant switched to a three-shift work schedule to produce the Su-34.
