The revenue of the studio "Lesta Games" ("World of Tanks", "World of Warships") at the end of 2025 increased by 17% and reached 29 billion rubles, according to data analyzed by Kommersant. At the same time, net profit decreased by 9.2% to 10.1 billion rubles. The company explained the decrease by the loss of IT benefits after the transfer to the control of Rosimushchestvo, which led to the accrual of income tax in the amount of 3.26 billion rubles, which was not available in the previous reporting period.
Earlier, information appeared about the recovery of more than 11 billion rubles from one of the group's structures in favor of the budget. The press service of Lesta Games in a comment to www1.ru stated that the enforcement proceedings have been terminated, and the debt is not related to operating activities and will not affect the operation of game services. The company stressed that it did not use borrowed funds for development and fulfilled its tax obligations in a timely manner.
As a reminder, since June 2025, Lesta Games has been managed by Rosimushchestvo after a court decision to nationalize assets. Despite the change of ownership, the project servers continue to operate as usual, updates are released, and the studio retains staff.
According to the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the volume of the Russian video game market in 2025 reached 208 billion rubles, with a forecast of growth to 271 billion by 2030.
