Rostec has launched a new mobile inspection and examination complex (MIEC) ST-2630M. The unit was created on a three-axle KamAZ-65658 chassis, which belongs to the K5 generation transport family. The development was carried out by KamAZ and Scantronic Systems.
The complex is designed for customs and border checkpoints, seaports, logistics centers and other facilities with high cargo traffic. Unlike stationary solutions, MIEC can quickly change location and strengthen control in the most congested or risky areas.
The system is based on a linear electron accelerator. The complex "illuminates" vehicles, allowing you to see through steel up to 32 cm thick. The software recognizes four groups of materials by the atomic number of the substance: organic, inorganic, light and heavy metals. With its help, you can detect drugs, explosives, ammunition and other prohibited goods. The equipment finds even small hiding places and hidden tabs among cargo weighing tens of tons. A full scan of a truck takes only a few minutes.
The use of MIEC allows you to speed up inspection procedures and increase their efficiency by eliminating manual inspection.
